Greater Northside Management District Collaboration Events

Tour de Northside

The Tour de Northside bike ride began in 2013 as a unique experience that enables participants to ride the streets and promote our neighborhood and area businesses of the Greater Northside. Each year, the event draws approximately 120 participants and over 40 partners and sponsors. This event promotes our Northside businesses, connectivity, infrastructure, the area’s image and bike safety.

Mercado de Northside

The Mercado de Northside began in 2014 to promote Northside businesses and local artists. This event draws from 50 to 150+ participants each year and from 20 to 30 vendors. In 2014, the event included pop-up tents made from recycled materials that were designed by Open Architecture Houston and several volunteers. In 2017, we partnered with Shop Local Northside to help curate Mercado de Northside in conjunction with the Tour de Northside Bike Ride.
